CD BROADCAST 011 An age of plentitude for many of the German people, who had suffered miserably after the First World War. After the disaster of the market crash, the massive inflation and the complete breakdown of the German infrastructure, this period of German history began to show a little affluence. Working class people now had jobs and where able to buy food and consumer items. The programs that the NDSAP had initiated in the Reichstag were beginning to show signs of recovery for the long suffering working class: money, the power to buy and consume. The music on this CD reflects the affluent times of the mid to late thirties. All Original Materials Copyright © 2005,
